Our approach

intelliJuan is a static website designed to let you read guides, compare tax estimates, and view tax deadlines without creating an intelliJuan account or submitting your calculator figures to us. This policy should be read with our Terms of Use.

Calculator and static site functionality

The website's pages, styles, and scripts are delivered as static files. Navigation runs in your browser. Calculator interactions and report generation also run in your browser.

When you use the calculator, the sales, expenses, compensation income, and other figures you enter are processed in your browser to produce the comparison. intelliJuan does not send those figures to its hosting provider, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, or an intelliJuan database.

If you print a report, your browser and chosen printer or PDF service handle that output under their own settings and policies.

Cloudflare hosting, CDN, and DNS

intelliJuan uses Cloudflare services to host and deliver the website, manage domain-name resolution, cache content through a content delivery network, and protect the site from abuse. Requests for the website therefore pass through Cloudflare's network.

Cloudflare processes technical request information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the website. This may include your IP address, requested URL, HTTP headers, browser or user-agent information, timestamps, and security or routing diagnostics. Depending on the services enabled, Cloudflare may make limited traffic, security, or diagnostic information available to intelliJuan. We use available information to deliver the site, investigate errors, maintain security, and prevent abuse.

Cloudflare handles this information under its Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

intelliJuan uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, general location by country, device and browser categories, and page-performance measurements such as Core Web Vitals. We use these reports to improve content, performance, and reliability, not for advertising or individual profiling.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics operates without analytics cookies or persistent browser identifiers. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation.

Search performance tools

intelliJuan uses Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor indexing and search performance. Reports may include search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average search position, country, device category, and crawl or indexing information. We use these reports to improve our content and search visibility.

These reports describe activity on the search providers' services. Neither webmaster tool adds tracking scripts or cookies to intelliJuan or receives figures entered in the tax calculator. Google and Microsoft handle search-related information under Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Cookies and similar technologies

intelliJuan's own static functionality does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar mechanisms when required for network security or site operation.

Calendar links and subscriptions

Calendar subscriptions are optional. Tax-type selections stay in the current page only. We do not save them in cookies, browser storage, or a taxpayer profile.

The calendar feeds and their URLs are public. A feed URL identifies the selected tax groups, but the feed contains public deadline information, not your tax identification number, calculator figures, or personal calendar entries. Opening Add to Google Calendar or using the URL in another calendar app shares that feed URL with the calendar provider.

Your calendar app or provider may request the feed again to check for updates. These requests pass through Cloudflare, which may process the requested URL and technical request information as described above. Copying a URL alone does not create a subscription.

intelliJuan does not request permission to read or modify your Google account or other calendar account, and does not receive your sign-in credentials or personal calendar contents. The provider handles sign-in, stores the subscription, and controls refreshes and notifications under its own terms and privacy practices. Remove a subscription through your calendar app or provider; clearing the checkboxes or closing this website does not remove it.

External links and sharing

The website links to third-party services and resources, including Facebook, LinkedIn, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the Department of Trade and Industry, the National Privacy Commission, and other government or reference websites. Guide-sharing links send the guide's public URL to the selected social platform.

When you follow an external link, the destination may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and referral information. The third party controls its own collection, cookies, accounts, and retention practices. Review its privacy policy before providing information.

Sharing and retention

intelliJuan does not sell personal information. Calculator figures are processed in your browser and are not sent to intelliJuan. Cloudflare, Google, and Microsoft may process the technical or aggregated information described above to provide their services and retain it according to their own policies and legal requirements.

Your privacy rights

Where the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies, you may have the right to be informed, access personal data, correct inaccurate data, object to processing, request erasure or blocking where applicable, obtain data portability, and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. The calculator does not retain your figures on our servers, so there is generally no calculator record for us to retrieve, correct, or delete.

Children

intelliJuan is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The current site does not offer user accounts or forms that request personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the website's features, service providers, or information practices change. The updated date above will show when the latest version takes effect.
